Donations are the main source of finances in running the rescue. Caring and rehabilitation for the horses is expensive and varies for each animal. Costs include (but not limited to): feed, meds, supplements, veterinary care, farrier care, and dental care.
Winter is a difficult time for our rescue. Spring through fall we have luscious pastures for the horses to graze. In the winter the grass is scarce so hay is needed as the primary roughage. Quality hay is costly. Donations are tax deductible. A one time donation or monthly sponsorship goes directly to the care of the animals.
